Category Assistant - Active Nutrition (39754)

 

Location: We offer hybrid working, with an expectation that you'll be present at our Holland & Barrett office in Nuneaton (CV10 7RH) for a minimum of 2 days per week. 

The Role

Holland & Barrett's Active Nutrition category is undergoing major transformation and growing at record speed due to ever increasing customer demand.

What you'll actually be doing 

  • Keeping the Active Nutrition category running smoothly across promotions, pricing, supplier information and product data. 
  • Handling large data sets, managing deadlines, and nudging suppliers when needed (politely, but effectively). 
  • Supporting the category managers with product promotions deal sourcing, chasing, loading and ongoing maintenance of planned promotional activity 
  • Supporting the category managers during range reviews through the sourcing of product information to input into our internal systems.  
  • Help support active product sample requests and help go out to market to evaluate the ranges in our competitors.  
  • Help the team maintain accurate cost and retail files liaising with both external and internal colleagues to ensure we show up right first time for customers.

  • Promotions will go live on time and without errors 
  • Pricing will be right first time, making the category feel dependable despite its pace. 
  • Store teams and advisors will have accurate product information, building customer trust. 
  • You'll prevent problems before they land in stores, in baskets, or in customer services.  
  • You'll ensure that we deliver our supplier support through accurate and timely invoicing.  
The Person

What you'll need 

  • Experience in admin, retail or commercial environments and comfort with data heavy tasks. 
  • Strong communication skills - especially when moving suppliers or stakeholders along. 
  • Confidence navigating spreadsheets, systems and shifting priorities without getting flustered. 
  • Curious mindset that is willing to challenge, ask questions & want to progress in a buying career.
