We are on the look out for China eCommerce Manager to manage the Holland & Barrett China Cross Border Ecommerce (CBEC) business. Responsible for building and trading the H&B China CBEC operations, launch planning, brand and content development, livestreaming planning and operation with all business-related planning and operations. Reporting to the China Commercial Manager, the role works in close partnership with International Marketing, Commercial, Partner Management and Operationsteams, as well as the wider group Digital, NPD and Finance team. The role will also interface with senior representatives from existing and potential new partners in China market.
Location: Hybrid with 1/2 days in Nuneaton head office
The Purpose of the Role:
Business Growth• Coordinate and work closely with our China trade partner on the daily operation of the Holland & Barrett officialstores on Tmall Global.• Work closely with distributors on China Ecommerce channels development, authorization, planning andstewardship.• Formulate annual and monthly trading plan, marketing plan/promotional calendar to fuel channel growth.• Support the China Commercial Manager and team on the wider CBEC strategic roadmap and projects.
Online Trading and Operations.• Work in partnership with Commercial team to optimise range and pricing for CBEC business in China.• Ensure CBEC online marketplace sales and margin targets are achieved, with clear budget control.• Evaluate and measure TP/partners performance and commercial opportunity with clear KPI setup.• Work with International Supply Chain Team, Commercial, Supply team on full business trading value chainprocess including demand forecast, order fulfilment, customs filing, freight delivery, stock level management andend-to-end service.• Work with the Marketing/PR/Digital team and local partners to deliver a consistent customer experience acrossdifferent channels, and brand awareness in market aligned with our brand guideline.• Work with Marketing Content/Science/Training team to ensure compelling brand and products content andassets are provided to online partners, ensuring any bespoke assets are briefed and delivered to agreedtimescales and standard.• Define and implement the product and brand training to local partners and ensure all partners operate to H&Bcorporate principles to protect the integrity of the brand.• Develop and implement livestreaming plan, work with Retail team/Reginal Head/Store Managers/Tech/Beneluxteam on great livestreaming execution and maximise live-stream opportunity to grow business.• Work with Finance team to manage monthly reporting (ensuring timely internal approvals where relevant) on allCBEC activities.
Relationship management• Build trust with strategic partners, leading the weekly/monthly review with CBEC partners to drive performance,bridging external partners with internal resources to deliver most optimum outcome.• Support China Commercial Manager to identify further CBEC expansion opportunities, preparingdocumentations to support partner selection and commercial framework discussions.• Build strong collaborative relationships within H&B; Commercial, Marketing, Partner Management, Operations,and Digital teams.
• Extensive experience in managing online sales or operations, particularly in China (cross border or direct).• Fluent English and Mandarin to business level.• Track record of achieving sales targets and good budget management.• Experience of delivering excellent multi-channel standards with a strong focus on the customer.• Developed commercial acumen & analytical capability.• Able to operate effectively with business partners, with strong stakeholder management, negotiation &networking skills.• Dynamic personality to fit into a fast growing, entrepreneurial environment.• Passion for Health & Wellness and EC/Digital in China.
