Global Head of Product and Packaging Planning (34911)

Are you ready to lead the planning and delivery of an ambitious global product and packaging pipeline? At Holland & Barrett, we're transforming how we launch new wellness products — fast-tracking innovation, improving ways of working, and embedding new planning tools and governance models. As Global Head of Product and Packaging Planning you'll lead a newly formed team and play a key role in our product leadership group. This is a high-impact opportunity to build structure, drive change, and shape how we bring exciting new propositions to life across global markets.

 

The Role:

The Purpose of the Role:  

Key Responsibilities:

  • Own end-to-end planning of all product and packaging activity across markets
  • Lead resource and capacity planning across functions to deliver launches on time
  • Establish governance and reporting frameworks to track and communicate progress
  • Build and lead a high-performing team, providing coaching, structure, and direction
  • Drive adoption of new operating models, tools and cross-functional ways of working
  • Coordinate dependencies and resolve conflicts across teams and senior stakeholders
  • Identify and mitigate risks across the plan, with clear escalation processes
  • Provide regular reporting and updates tailored to different business audiences

Location: This is a hybrid role based in London, with the requirement to be in the office at least two days per week.

 

The Person:

Key Requirements:

  • Extensive experience in product and packaging planning across global markets
  • Strong understanding of development and packaging RACI processes
  • Proficient in project management tools (e.g. Monday.com, JIRA); agile/lean a plus
  • Strong leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills
  • Comfortable with cross-functional complexity and executive-level engagement
  • Confident leading change and embedding new planning frameworks
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office and familiar with AI tools (e.g. ChatGPT)
  • Resilient, organised, and goal-focused, with a passion for wellness and innovation
