IT Asset & Configuration Manager (40703)

Location & Working Arrangement

Hybrid | Nuneaton or London

We offer hybrid working, with an expectation that you'll be present at one of our Holland & Barrett offices in Nuneaton or London for a minimum of two days per week.

Back your career by helping us build a smarter technology estate

At Holland & Barrett, we're making health and wellness a way of life for everyone. Behind every great colleague experience is reliable technology, and we're looking for an IT Asset and Configuration Manager to help keep it that way.

In this role, you'll lead the development of our IT Asset Management (ITAM) and Configuration Management Database (CMDB) capability, creating a trusted source of asset and configuration data across our technology estate. You'll work with colleagues across IT, Finance, Procurement and Information Security to improve governance, optimise costs and strengthen operational performance.

What you'll be doing

  • Lead and evolve our IT asset and configuration management operating model.
  • Own the end-to-end lifecycle of hardware and software assets, from procurement through to secure disposal.
  • Manage and continuously improve asset management and discovery tools, ensuring accurate and reliable CMDB data.
  • Build governance, reporting and data quality processes that support compliance and audit readiness.
  • Partner with Procurement, Finance and suppliers to manage budgets, purchasing and lifecycle planning.
  • Deliver meaningful reporting and insights that drive smarter decisions and continuous improvement.
  • Identify opportunities to automate processes, improve efficiency and reduce operational risk.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders across the business to embed consistent asset management standards.

What you'll bring

  • Proven experience in IT Asset Management, Hardware Asset Management or Configuration Management.
  • Strong knowledge of CMDB governance and asset lifecycle management.
  • Experience working with tools such as ServiceNow, Jira Service Management, Snipe-IT or Lansweeper.
  • A collaborative approach, with the ability to build strong relationships across technical and business teams.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with a focus on data quality and continuous improvement.
  • Experience working with procurement, finance, vendors and audit processes.
  • ITIL certification or Power BI experience would be an advantage, but isn't essential.

Benefits

You'll enjoy a range of benefits designed to support your wellbeing, development and lifestyle, including:

  • 33 days' holiday, including bank holidays
  • Holiday purchase scheme
  • 24/7 Virtual GP access
  • Private medical insurance – single cover (after 12 months' service)
  • Annual free at-home health testing kit (after 6 months' service)
  • Access to our Employee Assistance Programme and a network of Mental Health First Aiders
  • Workplace pension with employer contribution
  • Life assurance (2x salary, after 6 months' service)
  • £50 colleague product allowance on Holland & Barrett products (after 6 months' service)
  • 25% colleague discount in store and online, with free delivery on online orders
  • Free Wellhub membership, with discounted access to gyms, studios and premium wellbeing apps
  • Cycle to Work scheme

Ready to make an impact?

If you're passionate about creating well-governed, efficient technology environments and enjoy working with people across the business to deliver meaningful improvements, we'd love to hear from you.
