Junior Wholesale Account Executive (40198)

Location: We offer hybrid working, with an expectation that you'll be present at our Holland & Barrett office in Nuneaton (CV10 7RH) for a minimum of 2 days per week. 

The Role

Holland & Barrett is building something big in wholesale. The ambition is clear - to become a best-in-class wholesale wellness business - and the groundwork being laid right now will define how that plays out.  

This role sits right in the middle of that, supporting the account management team with the operational rigour and attention to detail that turns a good wholesale strategy into one that actually delivers.  

It's an early career opportunity with real commercial exposure - the kind of role where you'll learn how wholesale actually works, not just the theory of it. 

What you'll actually be doing 

  • Support the day-to-day running of wholesale accounts - acting as a first point of contact for inbound queries, keeping communication sharp and making sure nothing falls through the cracks 
  • Assist with weekly and monthly trading processes, performance tracking and post-promotional analysis, helping the team stay on top of what's working, what isn't, and what needs to change 
  • Manage SKU setup and product data across systems, keeping everything accurate, consistent and up to date - because bad data creates problems that ripple across the whole account 
  • Raise and manage purchase orders, support promotional loading and help validate promotional support as part of wider financial tracking processes 
  • Coordinate product launches and showcase days from the inside - tracking timelines, chasing readiness and making sure the right things happen at the right time 
  • Maintain range plans, SOPs and trading reports that give the wider team the visibility they need to make good decisions 
  • Work closely with Supply Chain, Finance, Marketing and Merchandising to make sure account activity is joined up, well-communicated and delivered on time 

How we'll see your impact 

  • Accounts run smoothly day-to-day with queries handled promptly, professionally and without the Senior Account Manager needing to get involved 
  • Data across systems is accurate, clean and reliable - internal teams trust what they're looking at 
  • Promotional activity lands on time, every time, and post-promotional analysis is in place so the team can learn from it 
  • Launch timelines are tracked, risks are flagged early and nothing comes as a surprise at the last minute 
  • Cross-functional partners find you easy to work with and know they can rely on you to follow through 
The Person

What you'll need 

  • Experience in an administrative, commercial or retail support role - you understand what good execution looks like and you take pride in getting the details right 
  • Strong attention to detail and the organisational discipline to manage multiple moving parts simultaneously without losing accuracy under pressure 
  • Solid Excel skills and genuine confidence working with data - you're comfortable building and maintaining reports and you know your way around a pivot table 
  • Clear, professional communication and the ability to work effectively across a wide range of internal and external stakeholders without needing hand-holding 
  • A proactive, collaborative and eager-to-learn mindset - this is a role that rewards curiosity and initiative in equal measure 
  • Exposure to trading, merchandising or promotional planning would be a bonus, but if you've got the right attitude and the core skills, we can work with that
