Are you a clinically qualified movement expert passionate about digital health? Join Holland & Barrett as our Physical Activity Lead for H&B&Me, our lifestyle health intervention app. In this pivotal role, you'll shape the future of physical activity and movement content—combining clinical insight, behavioural science, and AI to deliver personalised, effective, and scalable interventions that empower users to live healthier, more active lives.
This is a unique opportunity to lead at the intersection of healthcare, behaviour change, and cutting-edge digital innovation.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the development of safe, effective, and engaging physical activity programmes for digital delivery.
- Translate clinical exercise science into motivating digital content (e.g., app journeys, challenges, coaching).
- Collaborate with behavioural scientists and data teams to embed AI-driven personalisation and behaviour change techniques.
- Partner with product teams to shape features that support long-term physical activity habits.
- Continuously evaluate and improve interventions using user feedback and performance data.
- Ensure all physical activity content meets clinical standards and regulatory guidelines.
- Represent the physical activity pillar in cross-functional strategy and governance forums.
Location:
This is a hybrid role based in London, with the requirement to be in the office at least two days per week.
Key Requirements:
- Qualified health professional (e.g., physiotherapist, orthopaedic medical advisor, or senior exercise physiologist).
- Deep expertise in exercise science, health promotion, and behaviour change theory (e.g., COM-B).
- Experience in digital health programme development, ideally with AI integration.
- Strong leadership and cross-functional collaboration skills.
- Comfortable in fast-paced, agile environments with a passion for improving user health outcomes.
