You will play a pivotal role in supporting the Global Product Team to develop and launch a wide range of products to support customers health and wellness needs.  You will support the product development team in key administrative and practical tasks to support the development of products through the coordination of key activities throughout the stage and gate process which facilitates landing successful NPD.

This is an excellent opportunity for recent graduates or someone with retail or product/brand experience to kickstart their career in a fast-paced retail environment offering excellent career progression.

 

 

The Role
  • Supports Product Developers and Programme Managers with key administrative tasks to support the team in driving and delivering against the NPD calendar including product analysis, project management tracking and reporting.
  • Organises and support a wide variety of events including press events, internal stakeholder showcases and engagement sessions including stock ordering, marketing coordination, and full end to end set up.
  • Facilitate and lead key internal benchmarking session for the team to stay up to date with all retail launches.
  • Carry out market research and competitor research to support the product developers. product development strategy.
  • Coordinate with the product developers all tastings both internally and externally including supplier meetings.
  • Liaise cross functionally on all product information and samples to ensure we maximise every NPD launch including marketing, digital, social and PR
The Person
  • Excellent PowerPoint, Excel and Word skills
  • Experience supporting a team or hands on work experience
  • Similar product development assistant experience from within retail or a brand is desirable
  • Experience in organising information, or physical events is desirable
  • Passionate about product, brand and the retail market
  • Fantastic communication & organisational skills
  • Comfortable with juggling multiple timelines and working in a highly agile environment
  • A strong team player, adept at building effective relationships and stakeholder management.
  • Highly accountable and great at problem solving.
