The Role

What you'll be doing

  • Building and scaling our enterprise data warehouse using Amazon Redshift
  • Integrating and ingesting large, diverse data sources including sales, supply chain and digital clickstream data
  • Designing, developing and owning ELT pipelines using Matillion and AWS services
  • Creating robust, well-modelled datasets and data cubes to power BI reporting and analytics
  • Writing high-quality, performant SQL and maintaining strong data modelling standards
  • Monitoring the data platform and taking ownership of reliability, performance and system health
  • Working closely with product, technology and business teams to deliver data-led solutions
  • Mentoring and supporting colleagues, contributing to a strong and inclusive data culture

Location: We offer hybrid working, with occasional presence at one of our Holland & Barrett offices in UK for team meetings, collaboration sessions and key events.

What you'll bring

  • Strong experience designing and scaling cloud data warehouses (Redshift preferred)
  • Advanced SQL skills and a deep understanding of data modelling concepts
  • Experience working with large, complex datasets in a commercial environment
  • Proficiency in at least one programming language (Python preferred)
  • Comfort working across modern data and cloud tooling (e.g. AWS, Git, Linux, APIs)
  • The ability to explain technical concepts clearly to non-technical stakeholders
  • Curiosity, ownership and a collaborative mindset — comfortable working in a fast-moving environment
