This is a senior, hands-on role where you'll lead a talented team, partner closely across the business and drive range and space decisions that truly make a difference.
- Lead, coach and develop a high-performing Range & Space Planning team, setting clear direction and standards
- Own and deliver range reviews, trials and space transformation projects from concept through to store execution
- Use data-led insight to optimise ranging, space allocation and store clustering across the UK & Ireland estate
- Oversee the design, build and maintenance of planograms, ensuring they align with merchandising principles and customer needs
- Partner with Trading, Marketing, Supply Chain and Store Operations to deliver commercially sound, customer-led solutions
- Provide clear insight and recommendations to support strategic and longer-term space planning decisions
- Drive continuous improvement in tools, processes and ways of working
- Proven experience in a senior space planning, merchandising or range planning role within a head office retail environment
- Strong leadership experience, with a track record of developing and engaging teams
- Advanced analytical capability, with confidence turning complex data into clear, actionable insight
- Deep understanding of planograms, store clustering, range architecture and space optimisation
- Strong stakeholder management and communication skills, with the ability to influence at senior levels
- A collaborative, curious mindset and a drive to keep improving how things are done
