Senior UX Researcher (22608)

Please note, this role is fully remote (within the UK)

Holland & Barrett International is striving to be the world's leading health and wellness business.  Currently the largest in Europe and growing in other markets, the health and wellness of our colleagues and customers is at our heart.

Intro to the role

We're on a mission to make health and wellness a way of life for everyone – and technology is at the heart of our future plans to become a leading omni-channel retailer.

To be a successful Senior UX Researcher at Holland and Barrett you'll need to be skilled in applying a wide range of user research methods, an expert at involving others in your research process, and a passionate champion for making customer needs and behavior central to a team's decision-making.

Working closely with cross-functional teams, you'll uncover valuable user insights, define research objectives, conduct studies, share actionable recommendations, and facilitate ideation workshops.

We're looking for someone who is truly passionate about user-centric design, possesses strong analytical skills, and has a proven track record of delivering impactful research outcomes.

Responsibilities
  • Lead and execute end-to-end user research projects, including planning, recruiting, conducting studies, analysing data, and delivering actionable insights.
  • Collaborate with product managers, designers, engineers, and other stakeholders to define research goals and translate them into research plans.
  • Apply a variety of research methods, such as interviews, surveys, usability tests, field studies, and ethnographic research, to uncover user needs, motivations, and pain points.
  • Analyse qualitative and quantitative research data to identify trends, patterns, and actionable insights that inform design decisions and product improvements.
  • Present research findings and recommendations to cross-functional teams and senior management, effectively communicating complex ideas and insights in a clear and concise manner.
  • From research findings, facilitate group ideation workshops to harness collective creativity and drive innovative solutions.
  • Mentor and provide guidance to junior researchers, fostering a culture of continuous learning and development within the UX research team.
Skills and experience
  • 5+ years' experience (or equivalent) as a UX researcher conducting user research in a fast-paced and collaborative environment, preferably within the ecommerce industry.
  • Extensive experience in conducting interviews, usability tests, and other research techniques from remote.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to effectively present research findings to diverse audiences.
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Human-Computer Interaction, Psychology, Cognitive Science, or a related field. Advanced degree is a plus.
Benefits

  • We operate virtually. This role is fully remote (within the UK) but you can use our office and tech hubs when YOU need it
  • We offer a 10% incentive scheme, based on company performance – when we win, so do you
  • Stay healthy with a 25% discount on all product ranges to help you live well
  • We like to recognise and celebrate our people with our Colleague Recognition Scheme, so your hard work won't go unnoticed
